Eruption 1: why only three pieces

A tee, a cap, a bag. Most new labels launch with twenty products and sell four. We would rather make three properly and run out.

Eruption 1 is three products. A heavyweight flocked tee, a seven-panel cap, a sling bag. That is the entire first collection.

The obvious question is why not more.

Because most of a big launch does not sell

A new label launching with twenty SKUs is usually launching with four products and sixteen guesses. The guesses sit in a box. Eventually they go on sale at a price that makes the whole run unprofitable, and the brand learns that discounting is how it moves stock.

We made sixty tees, sixty caps and fifty bags. Small enough that we can be wrong about a colourway without it becoming a financial event, and small enough that everything gets made properly rather than approximately.

What small runs actually cost

They cost margin. Unit economics get worse as volume drops — the same setup, the same sampling, the same shipping, spread across fewer pieces. A brand producing thousands pays less per garment than we do.

They also cost patience. We ship by rail from production rather than by air. Rail is slower — meaningfully slower — but the carbon difference is large enough that we plan the production calendar around it instead of treating freight as an afterthought. If a drop lands later than we would like, that is usually why.

What you get in exchange is that nobody is trying to move dead stock at your expense.

Which is why there is no sale

We do not run sales. Not a launch discount, not a seasonal markdown, not a Black Friday.

The reasoning is straightforward: if a piece is worth 549 kr in May it is worth 549 kr in November, and a brand that discounts teaches its customers to wait. We would rather produce less and sell through than produce more and mark down. Sold out is an acceptable outcome. A permanent 30% off is not.

The three pieces

The Core Tee — 260 gsm cotton, washed before printing, oversized with drop shoulders, with a 30 x 30 cm flock panel across the back. Grey, green and red. This is the permanent piece; every drop will build from it.

The Summit Cap — seven panels, 100% nylon, waterproof and quick-drying, carabiner loop on the back. Black, blue and green. The piece with the most genuine function in the line.

The Slingbag — 25 x 18 cm, waterproof, reflective strap detail, orange cord pulls. Phone, wallet, keys, headphones, and deliberately not more.

Sizes run oversized. Take your normal size, and check the size guide if you are between two.
